Default 4l80e build

I have a (2003) 4l80e I am rebuilding myself. I have a 300 billet input shaft and billet forward drum and hp 2277 roller sprag and a alto stage 5 rebuild kit with a transgo hd2 kit. I seen post from Jakes about that kit retro fit. I have a circle d 3200 3400 stall converter. My question is there any parts I may want to change for a 800hp turbo setup. Thanks

I would say no. Us th400 guys rob parts from the 4l80 to make them stand up to 800+, namely the direct drum for it's high capacity roller clutch, and the intermediate for its capacity. With you having a bullet forward drum....you're pretty much set.

I wouldn't do alot of the HD2 mods that are in the instructions. ESPECIALLY not the pressure relief.

I also prefer to internally dual feed rather than use the 3 piece plate. That plate is just begging for crossleaks. But if you don't know how to do that, or if you are nervous to try, the separator plate will work just fine. Lots of guys use it.

If you've already spent the money on the input shaft and forward drum, I would opt for spending a little more and getting an upgraded forward hub as well. Rollerized is preferred
