Default 4l80e pump plug

I have a 98 4l80e and I got a used pump as the original was damaged. The new one has a plug in one of the ports, cooler port if I remember right, that the old one doesn't have. Anyone know about this. I will try to attach a pic.
Thanks

Know why it would have that plug in it? The old one is open with a cap plug where this on has a rod blocking it off

Read this, it's better than me trying to explain it.
