Transmission fluid pan torque sequence/pattern ?

Transmission fluid pan torque sequence/pattern ? Is there a specific pattern to follow when tightening tranny pan bolts? Would tightening in a circle work or is a star type pattern required?
If there's a diagramdiagram, please link me i can't find any specific answer.

I think the most useful thing is a torque wrench, too tight or too loose and it'll leak. I don't know if there's an official GM service technician's method for bolting the pan back on, but there are official torque specs.
Good technique would be to alternate tightening the bolts and tightening down to the torque specifications. Can't go wrong there. But as 98CayenneT/A said, that's not "necessary".
