4l60e transmissions solenoids

4l60e transmissions solenoids I just picked up a 2002 camaroz28 . Had codes for solenoids 1-2 and 3-4 . And one for transmission failure . I checked fluid it had no fluid . So I changed fluid and gasket and also replaced the solenoids but not the car won’t get out of first gear ? Mind you when I first bought the car the transmission wouldent slips or anything it would just lag a little bit . I’m stuck and I’m trying to have this car ready by this week any thoughts ? I’m thinking the new solenoids could be faulty or I just Have a bad transmission but I just don’t get how if at first the transmission was fine before I did the service .

To clarify, the car had been driven without fluid (or no fluid showing on the dipstick)?
If the previous owner had a leak or something that resulted in the fluid being low and they drove it around, that'll kill a transmission really quick.
