Converting a 4wd 8L90E to 2wd

Anyone done it?

I have an L83 and a 8L90E coming... plan is a cam and a whipple to get to about 560rwhp. I have a new converter coming for the trans... but it's also 4WD.

Looks like it's just a tail housing swap, but not really sure.

Don't have any experience with 8l90 but on the 6l90 and 4l80e the output shaft is different

Um, ok - not sure what that has to do with an 8L90E but thanks for that nugget....

Any ideas on where to get a 2wd 8L90E tail housing and output shaft?

Again, 8L90E, not 6L90 or 4L80

An output-shaft and output-shaft housing and corresponding seals; can be purchased from a local GM dealership, as over the counter parts for a 2016-2018 Camaro.
