4l60e on a lt1
Hello, I'm looking at a 4l60e for a lt1 swap I plan on doing, I talked to a rep at monster and the told me to get a 4l80e...but they didn't explain to me why and hung up. I need a 4l60e (or 4l65e) for a very specific shifter I want.
Is there anything I need to know before I buy these two parts? Will I have issues connecting them together?

I looked up some install videos and it looks like the 4l80e and 4l60e shift the same way so I wont have an issue buying what I want. Hopefully I don't run into any issues when I put it in my 75 camaro.

Which shifter do you want? I can think of one off the top of my head that you might mean...and you can use it with an 80e. But before I spout off...which shifter do you think you want to use?

As for shifter, I want this https://www.summitracing.com/parts/b...4/applications
I did a fair bit of research after the fact and determained it will work just fine as long as I buy this bracket https://www.summitracing.com/parts/bmm-75498
Going to be honest, I don't know a lot about cars, so I'm learning everything as I go. (My dad is more of the car person, so he's helping me)
Found a few people recommend jakesperformance.com....are they worth it?
