4L80E large roll pin - where did it come from?

4L80E large roll pin - where did it come from?

I was in the middle of installing a TransGo HD2 into my 4L80E when I took off the accumulator housing and a large spring/roll pin appeared. I am unsure where it was, if it was in the housing, if it's from the valve body, or if it was already loose. Here's a picture of it - does anyone recognize it? It's about 3/8" diameter and a little over 1" long. I couldn't find a suitable cavity for it but I'll look again tonight.

I believe this was a sleeve of somesort. I do not recall if I found a home for it but it was either apparent enough or I just didn't install it back. I'm sorry I can't be of more help to people but I do remember it not being much of an issue for anyone looking!

First glance looks like it Should be from the pump. Holds a valve in place.

I think I recall the pin you're referencing but I believe this was a different pin. I think I found it's home but can't remember. I'll look through my pictures. My memory is drawing a huge blank!
