4L80E no 3rd or 4th gear! PLEASE HELP Hi,
I have a LS swapped k5 blazer that has a 2012 LS3 and a 1998 4l80e. It is running an e38 ecm and t42 tcm. The truck has a brand new standalone harness from Long Star Dyno (specializes in harnesses for the squarebody trucks). The 4l80e has been rebuilt with many new parts, transgo HD2 shift kit, and has a 3200 circle d stall converter. My issue: truck shifts 1st to 2nd with no problem. However, when the truck goes to shift to 3rd (or if you manually shift it either by hand or with a tech2/hptuners) its almost like it goes up in neutral/1st gear. There are no codes set. Any ideas?
I have had my transmission out of my truck now 3 separate times for my trans guy to open it up and take a look in it and has found nothing, and everything air-checks out okay.
