4l80e converter install input, second guessing
4l80e converter install input, second guessing looking for some input here. Was bolting up my 4l80e to 6.0 last night and something was definitely off. there was either some misalignment or the converter came unseated. Anyway i separated the motor/trans, reseated the converter, and everything went together nice. I am worried that I could have damaged the pump during the first attempt at mating the trans to the engine. Is there any way to visually inspect the trans to make sure the oil pump is not damaged before I proceed with installing in my car? What is the best plan to make sure I dont have any problems before I actually start the car? Thanks!

And regarding making sure oil pump damage, If you have it out I would take the pump out and inspect it
