Default 4L60 Codes question

I'm looking at a 4L60e for my project. This one is a 2wd, with 3rd & 4th "burnt out" for $100.00.

1 pic shown is the tag on the aforementioned trans. for sale and it looks like "5CHD". That would equate to a 5=2005, D = 4L60e, CH = ? (engine), and the pcm connector is green (2000 - 2005).
2nd pic is from a you tube video, identifying, to a point, the tag decode. It says the tag shown identifies the engine (KC) as a 5.3.

OK, the question: Does anyone know where to see a chart of engine codes relating to a particular Trans? IE. the "KC" = 5.3, what does "CH" (above) =?
and the codes for the other engine possibilities (4.8, 6.0)…?

Thanks...

5chd will be 2005, 2wd, 4l60e, from a pickup

The codes honestly don't matter a whole lot. If you were looking for a 4l65e or something then maybe it would matter a little more...but if you're going to have it rebuilt...it doesn't really matter. All of them can be built to the same strength.

With the one shown here, it must be a 1997 (no bolt hole at the top of the bellhousing), and it's a 4L60E ("D"), but what's it out of (7SHD)?

AND, Is there any real differences from say,,, a 2004 and a 2007, or is it like you said...it doesn't matter?

Thanks...

pull the converter out and take a picture of the input shaft.
That will be the main difference.
Everything else is effectively the same.
Slight valve body changes but nothing that will stop it from working behind newer years

ME AGAIN...

Sorry to be such a PITA, but...
is there a chart...list...table...whatever, that shows what the 2nd & 3rd characters mean? Humor me, I am **** about these things.

The trans shown was identified by the seller as a 2005, out of a 1500 Silverado. That just doesn't compute.(7= 1997 in this case?) What's it REALLY out of?

Thanks again, for the patience....

no list
if you find a complete and accurate list, you'll be the first.

There are several ways to break down a 4L60E ID tag/ decal...

The portion of the ID that is shown, is referred to as the "Broadcast Code".
The Broadcast Code is only a small part of the ID tag/ decal.

One of the more common ways to go about this is by a Broadcast Code to Separator Plate ID chart.
Each separator plate has a part number that will but you in the ball park.

In this situation... That transmission is from a 1997 two wheel drive Blazer or Jimmy.
1996 and 1997 S Trucks had that specific bellhousing... It is an otherwise uncommon bellhousing that was replaced by a newer design in 1998.
