Default Truck pan

Is anyone running the truck transmission pan on a lowered 4th gen car? How is the ground clearance? Please let me know what springs you are on or how low you are. I'm on bmr springs, so I believe 1.25" drop

I have a 2002 camaro with a truck pan.
stock ride height in the front
lowered 1" in the rear
I have PLENTY of ground clearance with the truck pan. you probably only lose 1" of clearance with the truck pan, and there are other things that hang equally low

The trans plan is much closer to the front than rear though so I feel like your front stock height is giving you that plenty of ground clearance.

I have 3" dual exhaust with headers.
The drivers side as everyone knows is very tight. Mine is about 1/16" from touching the floor.
And it hangs lower than the trans pan.
So...the deep pan isn't the lowest spot. And even if I remove the front springs and let it ride bump stops...it will hit the exhaust before the trans pan.
Good enough?

Yes that helps. So I should have no problems. I also have a relocation cross member and I think that hangs lower that the stock trans cross member.

Would all of you be discussing a 4L60E with a truck pan?

If not, which model transmission are we talking about?

I was referring to the 4l60e, yes. I sure hope everyone else was too. I should have been more specific. But then again the trucks only came with 4l60e so I guess it was understood.

Edit: then I remembered the 4l80e was a thing in trucks.

I never had any issues with my truck pan and it even had a drain plug. If you need a truck pan, I have an extra one. I'll give it away if you cover the shipping.

I know the truck pans will work on the cars, my concern was for lowered cars. But thanks for the input and the offer. Unfortunately I already bought one though which should be here hopefully today.
