Default BOP th400 to a 5.3l

So the flex plate adapter kit uses a bushing to get the flexplate and converter closer together. The adapter plate for mating a BOP transmission to a chevy pattern also uses a bushing to make up for the extra space. This seems like it could cause me problems trying to use two conversion kits together. Is there a simple solution I'm missing? Is this mating even possible without a bucket of headaches? Maybe get a converter that had the mounting pushed out further and skip the bushings?

Use the BOP adapter to a SBC pattern. Should be a plate tht bolts to the bellhousing with 3 washers to make up the diff at the converter.

Thin use a stock 5.3 flexplate with the converter holes opened up some to match the 400 bolt pattern.

Thin add a th350/400 to ls crank spacer.

This will be everything needed to make it work. Should be but around $75 total parts.
