Default 4L60E temp question

What temp would be considered high? In traffic during the summer my temps get to around 210. Also I have my trans cooler mounted behind my radiator. Should I re route my trans cooler in front of the radiator? Also, is the bigger the trans cooler equal cooler temps?

210 is high end of normal. 230-240 is getting up there and starts to harden seals and can do real damage if long term. Yes put cooler in front of radiator and bigger always helps. Giggity

Are you running a trans cooler in series through the radiator cooler, or only through a separate trans cooler?

cooler should be in front. I think 100 over ambient temp is normal, but I prefer to be at 80 over if possible. Meaning i dont care to see 200 degrees unless its 90+ outside which with our humidity is scorching.

What cooler are you running?

The cooler also can not lay flat against the radiator. Space it about a half inch.
