Default PAS3400 vs SS4000 before and after launch vids

Not much I could find out there on the yank pas series in a 4spd car so here goes.

Both stalled up just above idle and hammer drop. PAS is definitely tighter and for a power adder car. Drove like a factory car with it.

Now the SS4k is a beast and very easily tolerable for driving. You can here the difference in the motor, it goes high and stays there now. Great job yank. Both great converters depending what you do with these them.

Once the weathers nice I’ll be doing track testing and have numbers for you guys!

Thanks for posting the vids as many newbies are curious about the differences. People do need to understand that the fastest converter on the track might be annoying loose and loud on the street.

LS3 with 227/243 cam and headers. 4l80 and 9” with 3.70’s. Can not wait to see what it does at the track this year! Hoping for 1.5’s 60’.
