Best Trans for The $ and What Cooler As the title states.
Looking at the following companies:
- FLT
-RPM
-Performa Built
I'm sure there are other and I'm looking for suggestions, as well as what cooler I should use. I've read a lot about the Tru Cool 40K?
Planning an eventual 383 Stroker motor + AFR/AI heads + Billet Custom ground cam.

Best trans... My vote goes to FLT. Chuck is great.
Best cooler... biggest you can fit. As Chuck would tell you, the key to keeping the trans happy is keeping it as cool as possible.

+1 for FLT. Had one for a while and it's been flawless. I use the same cooler setup as posted above aside from the tru-cool h7b which is the same as the b&m 70274 just costs less.
