Arrow 4L80e Trans fluid level question

hey guys, so i have a 2004 GMC sierra 2500hd with the 6.0 and 4l80e i have a quick question on trans fluid level. about a month ago i decided to check the fluids and noticed my trans fluid seemed low. i checked it in park wile idling trans temp was almost 150F i put about a 3/4 a quart in it to bring it up the the full hot hash marks on the dipstick. i checked it today after some highway driving same trans temp just about 150F and its about 1/4 inch above the full mark? truck seems to drive fine shifts good. just curious why now its above the hot mark? i also read somewhere that if i did overfill it it would come out of the vent tube, so i cant actually overfill it? im just worried that once it starts getting warmer here and the trans temp is about 200 its going to be way over level. am i overthinking this or am i wrong. thanks guys!

Always check the automatic transmission fluid level while the engine is running and the gear selector is in the park position.

The fluid level on the automatic transmission fluid dip-stick will always show higher when the transmission and fluid are warm/ hot, rather than cold.

This is normal and is due to thermal expansion. No need to worry.
