Default 4l60e drain plug length

Hey guys, quick question. I bought a new drain pan (stock depth) with a drain plug for my 4l60e. The plug that came with it wasn't magnetic so I bought a new one. The new one is about twice the length of the one that came with the pan(threads are 1"long). I just want to know if there are any moving parts of the transmission that could hit the plug. This is my first time servicing a transmission. Thanks for your time.
