Maybe.
I have a 1997 4L80E in my 1992 3500.
If your '91 has the original wiring harness on the truck you will need to change it.
The cooler lines will need to be adapted.
My trans had a brake on the tail housing, I just tok it off and put the original tail housing and yoke on it.
Been in there for 13 years at least.

what i meant was 1997 had a slip yoke and 1991 has a bolt on yoke , would the bolt on yoke leak though splines because has no oring on output shaft tk
