MY 4l60e line pressure values
Bought a cheaper oil/transmission tester gauge and got the following
Readings
Reverse idle = 80 psi
Drive /3/2/1 = 50 psi
Reverse (foot on brake/e-brake) quick rev/wot= 280 psi
Drive/3/2/1 =220 psi.
Do these sounds ok?
Are there any scanners that capture /record this data live?
I'm pretty green when it comes to transmission stuff and scanners.
Trying to capture/ diagnose an intermittent possible TCC issue... I am not even sure if line pressures matter, just poking around trying to learn a little.
transmission and eng. Mechanics have not be able to duplicate my issue. Itd be great if I could just record the data, so it can be reviewed later by someone.
I've already spent too much money on diagnostic tests that couldn't find anything, because they couldn't duplicate.

No scanner will capture that data because the 4l60e does not have a pressure sensor.
TCC issues usually stem from the TCC valves in either the pump or valve body...usually valve body.
"Fitzall" valve usually fixes issues for many guys...but I'm getting ahead of myself...the pressure check was good, tell us what else has been done for diagnostic and describe your issue in a little more detail. What's happening exactly.
