neutral safey switch and reverse light wiring
2001 Camaro SS factory manual car, that now has a power glide and has this safety switch and a TCI power glide shifter. The safety neutral switch works like it should but I'm wanting to get my reverse lights wired in and working. Is there any certain wires I should be looking around in the console area for? I'm assuming all the factory wiring is there as well. I do have a prong empty on the switch so maybe that is what the prong is for

The most simple solution would be to purchase a reproduction of an original Powerglide gear-selector switch assembly.
This switch is a combination neutral-safety and reverse light switch assembly.
These switches are cheap and readily available from most any of the classic Chevy restoration/ reproduction parts companies.
Here is an example of a reproduction Powerglide gear-selector switch assembly:
This switch is from Ecklers; whom makes resto-parts for Corvettes and many other classic Chevys.
URL: Switch
Use the original wiring in your vehicle from the schematic that BBond105 nicely provided you and bring the wiring to your gear-selector and switch assembly.
Problem solved nice and neatly.
