Default lm7 torque converter with th350

im researching torque converters . whats the bolt spacing on a lm7 flexplate ? will a tq converter for a small block fit it ? . im looking at bm holeshot converter . any opinions on this ?

NO, not without modification.

Do not purchase any of the B&M torque converters for GM 4 speed automatic transmissions (Or really any transmission actually).
Do not purchase any inexpensive torque converter from any manufacturer unless it is temporary and not for actual use in the final installation/ build of the drive-train/ vehicle.

The performance loss/ drivability of the power-train/ vehicle is terrible with a B&M converter in comparison to a proper torque converter for the application... People usually don't know it until experiencing the right torque converter!
Unfortunately they do not come cheap...
In most cases if you are spending under $700 or maybe even $600... you are purchasing a sub-par torque converter (excluding sales of course).

FTI (torque converter and transmission company) has taken a look at this thread...

I would post your specs here and ask them for a recommendation.

with our converters we machine our billet covers with the LS bolt pattern built into the cover along with the standard SBC/BBC GM bolt patterns as well. This pretty much makes the converter a universal fit engine wise.

Post your setup up and we'll get you headed in the right direction for a proper converter while making sure fitment is correct as well.

i got a 5.3 with a summit stage 2 turbo cam an a gt45 turbo i plan on running between 10-14 lbs of boost .th 350 trans
stock posi rearend 2.77 gears i plan on changing to 3.42 ...

hoping for 600 whp no transbrake . street strip . im thinking around 3500 stall

Our SR Series billet 9.5" will hold that power all day I was leaning towards a 3400 stall converter with our "power adder" stator for the turbo so it will still spool well, bite down hard when it starts to make power, and still offer good driveability as well. That one is $659 and rated to 750(no transbrake). I do have a sale going on right now you can get my SST for $745(normally $989) and that one is 1000Hp and transbrake rated. I've also got a turbo stator i use with the SST that performs quite well.

You should jump-in on one of his offers right away!
You will love one of these over some junk B&M torque converter.
Once you have used a proper torque converter, you are never going to want to use junk again!
