Seeking 4l80e Looking for direction for a price/source for a 4l80e with converter. Car will end up being 750 wheel rear HP tops. I have read about junk yard rebuilds with a shift kit for super cheap to 5K for 1,000 plus HP units. Looking for something in between. I don't mind paying top dollar for a trans that will last, just curious what guys are paying that will handle 750 rear wheel. Current combo is BBC, but looking to build a 5.3 with a single turbo for a 55 Chevy. Located near STL MO.

4L80-2A from @Jake's Performance lands about right in that price range you listed.
That along with one of their budget non-billet single disc converters will be plenty strong.
