Checking action of 3-4 clutch piston
3-4 clutch leaks through top of shaft hole that doesn't have a ball bearing. The 3 holes next to it have ball bearing in it. The piston is brand new so it hasn't hardened to allow fluid by.
I use the hole nearest the drum(bottom hole on shaft) while covering the air bleed hole. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. thank you

So the hole closest the drum on the shaft doesn't test anything? Besides clear passage way.
Because I tested the drum sitting on reverse input and pump and it works all three holes held air.
Its good to go ..then I'm stalling now.

There are 4 sealing rings and 4 holes.
I've marked each in the picture below.
The one without the steel ball closing it off is lube.
