Well I'm here to provide an update. I'm 99.9% sure its fixed. I started thinking a lot about everything I have done so far during a convo with a friend. I started thinking wait.. did I put the valve clip back on with the new part? I got home and there it is sitting on my toolbox. Dropped the pan for the 3rd time (extremely sick of trans fluid) and the new valve was sticking out about 1" put the clip back on. My TCC slip monitoring since the converter install was about 200-300 on a level surface with the cruise set. Its now anywhere from 0-4

I'm such a f%<><# moron.

Also adding that during a 45 minute trip of easy driving, my trans would get to 200°. Now its only getting to 161° with a little bit of hard driving mixed in.

You live and you learn.

At least you got it fixed before any further damage resulted.
Not to mention yours trans fluid should be mint between the converter swap and dropping the pan three times.

Congrats!

It sucks to hear... but, builder error is the most common cause of transmission problems.
I see it all the time with DIY transmission builders.
Even improper installation techniques can damage the transmission.

As the very old saying goes...
If I had a dollar for every time someone ruined one of my transmissions... simply from not following my installation instructions...
I would be a very wealthy man! Jeez! It kills me sometimes!
