Default What converter?

My 4L60E is on its way out and I've decided to get a Performabuilt Level 2 60E and a new converter. Car is just a bolt on car with 2.73s. May see a cam in the future, but nothing radical as it is my daily driver. Car sees the strip every once in a while and I'm dying to get in into the 12s. I've narrowed it down to Circle D and Yank, with either a stall speed of 3600 or 4000. Also thought about a Yank PT4000 but I've read it's a really loose converter compared the SS4000. Any input is appreciated!

I have the SS3600 and am very happy with it. My car is 3.23:1 and the slippage under normal driving is minimal. I sometimes think I should have gone to 4000, but believe overall I made the right choice for my usage.

Headers, Frost tune and converter dropped my et by a full second. A quality converter, like the SS3600, should get you well into the 12's.

That's awesome to hear! The SS3600 is my top pick so far as it seems to be a great balance between performance and drivability.
