For next time...don't post an hour long video with no context as to where you want us to watch.
I'm not wasting an hour of my time to find the spot you want us to see.
Put a time stamp

For the instructions, step 4, I'm assuming you're referring to the accumulator valve and spring portion? At least based on the instructions I have in front of me.
Use ONLY the transgo supplied spring. Discard stock.

I actually did timestamp the video and even made sure the timestamp was working properly but now it isn't for some reason.

I even just checked it in the edit and the timestamp is correct. Anyway the way he did it in the video is correct and I got it installed correctly. Thank you for the help.

That "white" spring for the Accumulator Valve-Train is used alone (with no other spring at the same time) with a "Corvette" size intermediate servo.

This is a light (low spring pressure) spring that will allow the Accumulator Valve-Train to exhaust more easily...
This helps to prevent a harsh shift up into 2nd gear, when accelerating lightly.

The "red" spring is firmer and will make this shift more abrupt/ harsh.

Yup, the white spring is what I used. Ended up breaking one of the small filters on the separator plate trying to remove it so I could install it onto my new plate would have had it all finished today now gotta buy new filters and wait maybe a week for them to arrive.

I am planning to do this in the fall on mine and I have watched the entire video already. I thought it was good and I'll refer back to it when I do the install myself. Thanks for confirming on the spring.

You can even do more here than the TransGo kit offers as per hole sizes on the separator plate. First, what torque converter diameter and stall are you using here? Rear end gear ratio? And how do you drive? Moderate? Moderate aggressive? Or aggressive? Lastly was the transmission working fine before the kit installation? Before making the modifications I am assuming you have the Corvette servo. Install one large gold shim get the band clearance to a minimum. Make sure that the band wiggles as per instructions. Once I have the correct information here, I will give the the specifics. Did you install a new separator plate? If you did, is it a GM plate or the TransGo plate?
