D1 brake issue

I just put 4l80 in with Jakes d1brake also bought his manual control box as well wire it up and the brake doesn’t work. Anybody having this problem didn’t wire the red/black wire at all because says d3 brake?

Which aspects of the valve-body do not operate properly?

Is the transmission completely inoperable?

Or is the Trans-Brake just not holding?

If all other aspects of the transmission operate properly...

Then you need to look at the valve/ solenoid for the brake, the wiring, and any switch/ controller involved.

The harness is new and has a new switch tested power and ground both good don’t know how many ohms solenoid is suppose to be going to drip pan tomorrow and check test solenoid

You should be using the yellow wire to ground to activate the transbrake.

If the transmission shifts to 3rd OK, and has reverse, all the internal elements are working to apply the brake, you either have an incorrect install or not giving it signal.
