Default Different Torque Converter?

Trying to figure out what to do with my torque converter. I’m going to be installing a 2004r behind my Lq9. The car is street/hwy driven only. Car specs below:

Rear end: 3.08

Rear tires: 275/40/18

TH350 > Upgrading to 2004r

Torque converter:<!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->Product Line: FTI Performance ESR Series Torque Converters, 9.5" diameter, Flash stall 3400-3600rpm

Cam specs:

Cam Style: Hydraulic roller tappet

Basic Operating RPM Range: Idle-6,200

Intake Duration at 050 inch Lift: 220

Exhaust Duration at 050 inch Lift: 230

Advertised Intake Duration: 275

Advertised Exhaust Duration: 285

Intake Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.553 in.

Exhaust Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.553 in.

Lobe Separation (degrees): 117

Looking back I still don’t think I understood enough to select a proper TC. When driving it shifts about 3500 rpm on normal take off from a light. Seems super high to me ( I guess I'm used to my old TC which was around 1800-2k rpms, I think). I’ve never taken the car to a dyno, so I can only guesimate the HP/Trq output. Just looking for opinions/recommendations on either keeping the TC I have now, in hopes it’ll be better with the 2004r, or putting a lower stall when I go for the swap. Ideally keeping rpms low on the fwy. Car is a '69 4 door Chevelle.

Do you have a link to that ESR Series converter you mentioned? The normal ESR series will not fit a 2004R. The ESRL Series will with a 27 spline turbine hub.
Feel free to shoot me a PM or email and we can further discuss converter options.
