turbo 350 blew fluid thru the shifter
Took a short ride around my block, 1/4 mile and pulled in to my drive and saw transmission coating my drive. backed up and fluid bubbled up thru the shifter funnel.
Hadn't had any problem before this. The fluid did not smell burnt and was the normal red. I dropped the pan had maybe a quart, and it was the red and didn't smell (other than the smell of transmission fluid.
Dropped the cooler lines, but haven't checked if the cooler fan/cooler is working. Any feeling on this ?

overfilled??? no gasket on shifter linkage?? most auto trans will blow fluid out the vent on top of the trans when loaded ( pulling a trailer) happened on my truck pulling a trailer.
I would guess the trans is overfilled and the shifter gasket is missing or bad.

I still have to check the cooler to see if it is working.
Any place can look to find that vent?
