Default 99 Corvette Ls1 into second gen camaro what 4l60e work?

Starting to gather parts for my ls swap into a 73 camaro. Have a built ls1 from a 99 vette, can I use any 99 and up 4l60e or do I need to use a corvette 4l60e from those years?

Any 2wd 4l60e from about 97 to 04 except corvette should work. I may not have the years right but close. If the trans is from a non ls motor you would need a spacer for the convertor

You can use a v6 4l60e from same years as long as it has the 300mm input shaft and detachable bellhousing of course

Definitely DO NOT use a Corvette 4L60E!

It is designed to be mounted in the rear of the vehicle and attached to the rear differential; making it a "Trans-Axle" with independent rear suspension and a big "Torque-Tube" connecting the engine to the "Trans-Axle".

Good Luck and Have Fun!
