Cinfused I just pulled a 4l60e from a 99 4x4 suburban and tag reads 9 tad what does that mean and is this the tranny that wa ms originally installed ? I want to put it in my 98 k1500 please clarify before I pull mine and install this one Thanks

The first digit is the year (9 = 1999)
The second digit (T is for a 4 wheel drive Blazer, S10, Jimmy, Sonoma, or Bravada. Note: some S code, and T code transmissions that were over-produced, ended up in Yukons, Tahoes, Suburbans, Sierras, Silverados, and Escalades).
The third digit is inconsistent in meaning
The fourth digit is the transmission model (D = 4L60E Family)
