Hey guys, brother in ones truck I just rebuilt the 60e. Got it done, drove it the first day and she worked amazing. Nice crisp clean shifts. Put around 100 miles on it the first day. Second day we drove it to town, and after our first stop I noticed it took off in 3rd. Shut the truck off and let it sit, and it worked fine again untill you stopped then bam, limp mode. Same deal all day over and over, had manual second if I selected it, no 1st or 4th. When I installed this I did a typical trans go kit, and I turned the line pressure screw in 1/2 turn on the epc. Well the shifts 1-2 were pretty hard so i took off the pan, and turned it back 1/2 turn, checked internal wiring and reinstalled. Now I only hve second gear. When you put it in gear from park it clunks pretty hard like the pressure is really hard, so I bought new a and b selonoids and new epc, changing them out now. Ohmed internal trans wiring etc, tested power is good, the works.
fluid looks great, never ever slipped, no noises or anything, I’m buttoning up the trans now again but I’m not confident this will fix it.
vehicle is a 2dr Tahoe we are getting ready to swap.

3-2 solenoid is a useless solenoid.
The only reason it might cause an issue is if 95 pcm sees it and throws a trouble code that puts the trans in limp.
More than likely your issue is a **** AFL paired with incorrect line pressure

It had a code for the 3-2, not sure if it being stuck open or closed would affect anything but it’s completely dead. I just picked up a new one, will be reporting back with results soon
