Default Looking for options to upgrade my 4L60e converter

I'm interested in what converters are currently out their to upgrade to. My current converter is a PI Vigilante triple disk with a 3600 stall purchased in 2006. With my new engine, my tuner says it's too tight and my feeling is it could be worn or damaged as well after 15 years.

I have a 2004 GTO with a HPR 468 / LS7 engine. This is a NA street / strip build. My transmission is a Rossler Terminator 3 4L60e with a few extra billet parts they added to beef it up. I also have Meziere True Billet Flexplate. This new engine dynoed 609.5 rwhp peaking at 6300 rpms, 559.78 rwtq peaking at 5000.

Why is the tuner saying the converter is too tight? a 3600 converter is normally a good balance between street and strip.

We also work on vigilante converters and have the parts in stock to do so, if you would rather send the converter in for us to take at it we can.
If you would rather buy new that's not a problem as well.
