So i got a question. I have a 4l60E with the stock shifter and i hate it. I wanted to get a ratchet for it but its hard to fit it in the stock console. So i was looking at installing the B&M console ratchet shifter they made for the third gen fbody. now i dont belive a third gen console would fit or look good in my 4th gen. But hawks sells the 4th gen manual console. So hypothetically if i removed the leather boot could the 3rd gen ratchet shift be bolted into the space where the manual shifter and boot would go?
