Vacuum Modulator Under Boost

What happens if the vac modulator sees boost? I'm guessing people are running a check valve so that the vacuum modulator only sees vacuum. When the check valve closes, what pressure would the modulator see?

Yes, if you are using a stock type valve-body...
Then a check valve would be needed.

It would work like the check valve that goes into a vacuum power brake booster.
