4L80 3-4 accumulator spring

Default 4L80 3-4 accumulator spring

I'm about to put together my 4L80, and I need one more part. But I can not for the life of me find a 3-4 accumulator spring (the old one broke in half) I found the pistons and springs for both accumulators on eBay but I don't need both springs and the pistons are fine. Chryslers 3-4 accumulator is an 8 coil spring, I wonder if that would work. Or what other trans uses that spring?

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you asking about the 3rd Accumulator, or the 4th Accumulator?

The 4th Accumulator Piston and Spring can be omitted (and have the 4th Feed passage into the Bore, plugged-off) on pretty much every build.
The 3rd Accumulator should be active in some builds without a Dual-Fed Direct Clutch.

No, I guess I was confused. The shorter 8 coil 4th accumulator spring. The longer 3rd spring comes in the trans-go kit. For now I'd rather keep them, Im floored that I can't find just the spring.

LoL, so in my search this mornin, I dropped 4l80e and inserted GM and they came up all over the place! Part number 8675634. I've heard of deleting these but given this is my first trans build I'll go with near stock-ish for now!

Not to hijack here, but on the older 4L80E units there is another valve in the accumulator housing, I believe it is the PCS valve. Can this valve be omitted when upgrading to a newer PCS solenoid and 94+ separator plate? What all needs to be blocked if doing so?
