Transmission won’t shift!! Hello everyone I’m new to the whole LS forums. I need help with my 1962 c10 I LS swapped and it has a 4l60e when I went to drive it it wouldn’t shift i’m guessing I’m stuck in limp mode or something. On my scanner it says I’m in 2rd gear when I put it in drive. I know for a fact I have my linkage set up properly for the transmission in the truck. The only code I’m getting is a p0706 Transmission Range Sensor Circuit Out Of Range. But the thing is I don’t have that wire in my Standalone wiring harness. I don’t know what to do I’ve tried everything done a lot research but can’t find anything on this subject. Please help!!!

The pressure manifold switch that bolts to the valve body tells the PCM what range the trans is in. If you had the pressure manifold switch off and were not careful when cleaning it you can knock the seals and round plastic films off the switch. If you don't notice that you have knocked one of these off the switch will not work correctly. Or you just wired something wrong.
