Default Btr 3000 to 3200 stall converter

Looking to get the BTR 3000 to 3200 stall converter, has anyone used this one and what's your opinion on it?? It's back ordered at the moment but should be in soon I was told.

BTR sells several different brands of converters. Post up a link or something more descriptive so we know which converter you are talking about so we can weigh in.

I am a big fan of the Guys at Brian Tooley Racing.
I often find their Valve-Event calculations/ recommendations to be very similar to my own.
I like where their heads are at!


However, if you are looking for a Torque-Converter...
I would highly recommend just calling Dalton at FTI, and have him set you up with what you need.

I personally have never had a Vehicle, or Power-Train that used a Torque-Converter of a BTR Brand (Brian Tooley Racing).
I do not believe Brian has his own TC Products... if anything he probably puts his name on another manufacturers TCs (just like he does with Valve-Springs).

In terms of using a "High Performance" Torque-Converter, I have used:
-Neal Chance (I only use these with serious Power).
-FTI (My personal preference).
-Pro-Torque, Yank, Circle-D, Edge, and TSI.

I strongly recommend staying away from inexpensive/ budget/ cheap Torque-Converters...
Commonly found from B&M, and TCI.

Should you wish to get into specifics... It would be very helpful to know what model Transmission you have, and also what Vehicle.

95 impala ls swapped lq9 6.0 btr stage 4 799 heads 373 gear in the rear, 4l80e trans, nothing special just a weekend cruiser not going to the track or anything like that

Alright, for a 4L80E Transmission...
I would also recommend Jake's Performance:

They are a great Automatic Transmission business, and the 4L80E is one of their specialties.
They are fully equipped to make custom 4L80E Torque-Converters in-house.

I would recommend FTI or Jake's Performance, for your Vehicle.
