Default 4l60e Interchange

I have a 1994 gmc Sonoma 4x4 4.3 liter an the transmission has Burnt up. I’ve read that you can only use a 93-94 trans an I’ve read that you can use up to a 99. Im wondering what years I can use or can I only use a 93-94

You are going to need a 1993 or 1994 Transmission.

I recommend finding another Four Wheel-Drive 1994 Transmission, over a 1993 Transmission.
Do NOT purchase a Two Wheel-Drive Transmission.

The 1995 Model is different from the 1994 Model...
as well as the PCM and OBD-1/ OBD-2 Systems.
I am assuming that you do not want to have the Transmission rebuilt...
and are hoping that a Junk-Yard Transmission will work for you.

Good luck!
