also might consider a "case saver" I think Jake has one that allows you to keep the 2-1 engine braking band.
that's standard, most basic, mandatory stuff for any quality build
wheat from chaff comes in the form of additional modification of the thrust paths, geartrain stabilization, and most importantly, hydraulic circuit integrity and especially in a 4l80e...extensive modification.
The 80e pump is ****. pressure regulation is ****, lockup circuit is ****. intermediate and OD circuits need work. the lube circuit is a mess. etc
