Default 4L60E shift cable retainer/grommet

Hey guys,
I just reinstalled my transmission and now it won't shift back into any gears once pulled all the way into "1". So when the cable is pulling the shifter lever on the trans towards the rear of the car its fine but once the cable is pushing forward it won't move the little shift lever. After having someone sit in the car while I watched underneath I can see that the cable "sleeve" has ripped out from the grommet/retainer where the sleeve meets the floorboard. So when the shifter is moved forward inside the car it pushes the cable and sleeve down towards the front of the car and therefore it isn't pushing just the metal cable inside the sleeve if that makes sense. Is this something I can replace (the quarter-sized black grommet/retainer in the floorboard) or do I need to just get a whole new shift cable/sleeve together? It's for a '95 Z28 but same concept for the '98-'02 best I can tell.
Thanks

For those interested I figured it out. It was actually a plastic retainer clip right near where the cable attaches to the bottom of the shifter. It holds the cable sleeve in position under the shifter. I replaced the shift cable and that resolved it.
