What 4.3 Transmission? The NV3500? The 3500 is the same pattern as the muncie, which would bolt up to the LS.

04gmc83, see if the bellhousing # is the same, and if it has the hole at the very top. Also see if the input shaft is splined all the way to the tip (300mm converter) without stepping down to a smaller diameter (298mm converter.) If hole at top and fully splined I believe it should work. Make sure removable bellhousings are the same depth. Hope this helps.

The V6 bell housing, torque converter and input shaft will not work on the LS engine.

The GMT-800 truck platform (99-06) with the 4.3 uses the same exact 4L60 as the 4.8, 5.3 and 6.0 Silverado, Sierra, Tahoe, Escalade's etc.

I used my 2000 V6 Sierra 4.3 bellhousing bolted to a Performabuilt 4L60 when I swapped to a 2005 LQ9 V8
