Default Transmission

I have a 4l60e in my 2000 gmc yukon i pulled it and replaced it wit a 4l60e from a v6 motorchanged the bellhousing over and converter but it still acts as if all gears are neutral

We need more details.

Why did you change the original transmission? What was wrong with it?

My original trans burnt out
none of the gears worked

Isn't the stator support on a V6 transmission shorter than the V8 transmission?

The V6's use a 298mm input shaft and short stator. The V8's are a 300mm shaft and long stator.
