Flex Plate I have a 2004 Gen III,5.3, it's getting a PG trans, what flex plate do I need? I'd like a SFI one and from what I seen I can use one off a 4L80, flat with a spacer and longer bolts, is that right? I'd like to stay away from the dished one, 4L60 I'm told, so I wouldn't have to use the spacer for the crank. Where can I get one that doesn't cost an arm and leg? Does the Jegs HD one require the spacer?

you'll need a bolt pattern to match your converter. I always recommend just getting a multi pattern flexplate
The starter ring location is the same as sbc.
The pilot location is not.
So, you either need
A. long pilot on the converter, a dished flexplate, and no spacer
B. short pilot on the converter, a dished flexplate, and a pilot extension
C. short pilot on the converter, flat flexplate, and a flexplate spacer
