Default Early 4l60E vs Late 4l60E internal components.

So I don’t know if something similar has been posted or not, but I’m struggling to find any information on this. I have an early 4l60E 4x4 transmission (1994 Chevy s10 blazer 4x4) and I am looking at a rebuild kit for a 1997-2003 4l60E because I’m having trouble finding rebuild kits for mine. I know that these two transmissions have different bolt patterns on the end, and that the ones after 1994 have a pwm module but I’m thinking if I just get this kit and don’t use the pwm and only use the tcc it will work but I want to know if the internal components are the same and if I can use this rebuild kit. It won’t let me attach the link for the kit but it is on jegs.com and part number is JEGS 555-62158. Any help is appreciated

I try to keep new people away from different types of "Rebuild Kits" online...
There are way too many variables with Parts.

I recomend calling ProBuiltAutomatics by searching for their Webpage.
You will have Parts custom selected for your build.

The overall cost for the Parts you will use is higher this way...
But no money will be wasted on Parts that will go unused.

Whatever it Takes Transmissions will have the correct kit for your trans. Look the part number up on their web site and look up the phone number for their nearest location. You will get a better price by calling then you will by ordering online.

Most "Kit's" will cover 93-2004 model year transmissions. I use Whatever It Takes as well. I keep their part # 74002E gasket and seal kit in stock and it covers 90% of what I build of the 4L60E family. If it has a wedge seal for the front pump, then I order the 74002EC gasket kit.
Frictions I always order them separate. I found that I can get all 5 packs separately and spend less $. I also put 4L65E 3-4 frictions/steel in almost everything. The end results are 3-4 clutch pack clearance is under .040. I can always add a .106 steel or two if needed to get around .030-.035.
I spend approx $500-$700 plus at wholesale pricing on every one, I keep long band pins, OS PR valves, O-ringed end plugs, Abuse bore plugs in stock. They get used as required as I vac test/assemble everything and that crap adds up fast too.
