Why does my rebuilt th400 Leak

I just got my turbo 400 rebuilt and put in my truck and it leaks from governor it has a shift kit and a few other things installed, any guesses

UM' cause the gasket got over tightened maybe or not tightened enough. **** happens call the shop that rebuilt it and see if they can fix it. TH400's really had an issue with the governor cover seeping. It's pretty easy to do...

i've always flat filed the governor cover before installing and make sure the bolts are tightened evenly then torqued correctlly and never had any issue. it is very easy to strip the holes in the case or use the wrong length bolts if your not careful. otherwise it should be an easy fix just as long as things didn't really get screwed up.
