Hopefully this is my last 4l80 related post. I have the 4l60 shifter cable mounted to the trans and a 60 shift cable. All parts I had to buy since the car was a m6 car. I believe they’re all correct but the shifter cable is too long and there’s no adjustment to shorten it. I’m running the stock shifter and cable. Any ideas? First picture is the cable attached to the cable mount, 2nd is the cable on the shift linkage and disconnected from the mount.

 

I am in the process of swapping a 4l80 into my third gen with factory 4l60/700r4 shift linkage. Had to cut and weld up the original mount to get things to line up.
