Default What are the basics on making a 4L80e tough as possible?

Hey fellas, currently building a full forged turbo LS, i picked up a 2004-2005 2wd 4L80e out of a van and had a transmission shop go through it, and put a HD2 Transgo kit in it (ala sloppy mechanics), also put a 3400 stall triple disc lockup converter in from Circle D. Now i am wondering if its going to survive, truck should come out to around 42-4400lbs (1965 C10). Truck will be used mainly on the street with alittle bit of strip. What would you fellas do to give the 4L80 the best chance of surviving? (i have a giant cooler for it)

First of all, if you are familiar with sloppy mechanics you should be familiar with the wiki...did you follow those instructions on what parts to install on the 4l80e and which parts to leave out?
If you're not going to have the transmission properly built, then I'm not sure what your question is really asking?
For any automatic, the keys to making it live are
-Proper fluid level
-proper shifter adjustment
-proper converter clearance
-proper driveshaft enegagement/balance

Past that...drive it in D3 whenever you're going to beat on it
