Lm7 & 4l60E swap trans issues
cheers in advance

Which PCM is being used?
If the Transmission operates in any other Gear than Third, or it makes any Shifts at all...
The Unit is NOT in "Limp-Mode".
Have have the PCM scanned for current Diagnostic Trouble Codes, as well as any stored in History (preferably with any Freeze-Frame Data).
Have the Transmission Line Pressure Tested in all Gears/ Ranges at both Engine Idle and at 1,000 RPM - 1,500 RPM.
Please report back the findings, the Model Year of the of the Transmission, and the Model of PCM being used.
In "Limp Mode" ...The Transmission Line Pressure will be at Full Pressure all of the Time.
Performing the Line Pressure Test (as I recommended) would help to clarify if the Unit was or was not in "Limp Mode".
I do not just make up these recommendations on a whim...
I was actually an Engineer for GM Transmissions for many years (and do still know what I am talking about).

I never test pin "E" for voltage I always test it for it's ability to carry a load. This test tool i made work very well.
