Default High Pressure- could either be, MAF, EPC, or internal sht?

I’m waiting on my diag “tools” to arrive but I wanted to ask one more time, what causes excessive line pressure? A failed, MAF, EPC, or something in the valve body or “internal?” Are those my options? I haven’t checked the pressure yet but I’m fairly certain that it is going to be high because it’ll lurch forward when it’s put in gear. More so when the fluid is below operating temp. That and shifting harder than it should from 1-2 are the only issues left. I replaced the EPC and I cleaned the MAF. Crap I hope it’s not “internal,” probably is huh? If it’s something that I can’t replace myself I’d feel like I wasted fifty bucks on a pressure gauge. 😂
I bet a new stock 4l60e would run me three to four grand parts & labor these days. What’s a T56 swap run? About the same or much higher?

I am pretty sure you cannot buy a BRAND NEW stock 4L60E .

HIGH LINE?

1-EPC aka PCS
2-STUCK PR VALVE
3-STUCK PUMP SLIDE, Yes the pump slide is part of the presure regulation circuit
4-AFL VALVE ISSUES (VALVE BODY)
5-Unusual but leaky pump halves leaking into AFL applying boost valve
6-MAF SENSOR
7-MAP SENSOR COMMONLY OVERLOOKED (mostly boosted applications)
8-TPS BUT USSUALLY ACOMPANIES SHIFT TIMING ISSUES
9-KNOCKED UP TUNE ON TRANS OR ENGINE.

I am sure more things exist but these are off top of my head i have actually seen over the years.

Thanks for the list. What I meant by “new” was whether a reman installed or having mine rebuilt.

Default Data

My OBD dongle came so I hooked it up to see what I could find out and unfortunately it says there aren’t any codes. I’m not sure if the free app that I’m using will read transmission codes or not but I thought so.
As far as the data goes I don’t know what I’m looking at or for really. It says the TPS reads .39% at idle. Is that the same as “0” as far as the ecu is concerned or is it supposed to read 0? What am I supposed to be looking at as far as MAF numbers? The cold idle doesn’t seem to be as smooth as it should be but if you weren’t looking for it you probably wouldn’t notice. I sure was hoping for a code. I’m not sure what to do next.
